## Description

Breakwater is a medium-tone beige safety vinyl with a subtle speckled finish. It gives you a clean, neutral look that works in kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms and commercial spaces where slip resistance matters. The R11 rating keeps you safe on wet floors without sacrificing the soft, warm aesthetic of traditional vinyl flooring.

Breakwater sits within the Altro Pisces range, which specialises in [Safety Vinyl Flooring](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/safety-vinyl) designed for moisture-prone environments. This sheet comes in 2-metre roll widths and 20-metre roll lengths, making it straightforward to plan your coverage. The 2mm thickness balances durability with flexibility, and the PVC composition with scrim backing delivers genuine waterproof performance.

### What you get

- Anti-slip rating R11 (slip-resistant on wet surfaces)
- 2mm thickness, 2m roll width, 20m roll length
- PVC sheet with scrim backing
- Waterproof and suitable for underfloor heating
- Sound insulation of 5dB (minimal noise underfoot)
- Beige, medium tone with speckled finish

Installation is glue-down only. No underlay is required, which simplifies the fit and speeds up the job. The product qualifies for Class 34 and 43 use, which means it handles both domestic kitchens and heavy commercial foot traffic.

[Sheet Vinyl Flooring](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/vinyl-flooring) in safety grades tends to mark up easily, so scuffs and water spots can show. Breakwater's speckled pattern hides these marks better than solid colours. Clean it regularly with a damp mop and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive scrubs and scouring pads, which damage the surface.

Altro backs this product with a 10-year warranty. That covers manufacturing defects and the integrity of the backing. It does not cover damage from improper fitting, poor cleaning or impact. Your floor sits on a solid guarantee as long as you fit it to spec and look after it properly.
