## Description

Forbo Surestep Material in Beton Concrete is a medium grey vinyl sheet with a raw concrete finish. It looks like polished concrete underfoot without the upkeep or slip risk. The surface texture grips wet feet, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, WCs and commercial spaces where safety matters.

The R10 anti-slip rating means you get traction on wet floors. That matters in a shower room or a busy kitchen. It also means the material meets Class 34 and 43 use ratings, so it handles both domestic and commercial traffic.

### Specifications

- Thickness: 2mm
- Wear layer: 0.7mm
- Material: PVC sheet vinyl with PVC backing
- Roll widths: 2m
- Roll length: 25m
- Anti-slip rating: R10

The material is fully waterproof, so it handles splashes and spills without damage. It sits on top of your existing floor with no underlay needed, and it works with underfloor heating systems if you have them installed.

### Where it works

Bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms and WCs are the natural fit. The waterproof core and slip resistance also make it popular for commercial environments like care homes, gyms and food prep areas. [Forbo Surestep Material](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/forbo-surestep-material) as a range is designed for high-traffic, high-moisture settings where grip is non-negotiable.

### Installation

This is a glue-down [sheet vinyl flooring](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/vinyl-flooring) product. You'll need to adhere it directly to your subfloor. It's compatible with underfloor heating, so you can have warm feet without replacing the material.

### Looking after it

Wipe spills straight away and sweep or vacuum dust. [Safety vinyl flooring](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/safety-vinyl) like this cleans easily with a damp mop and mild soap. The 0.7mm wear layer keeps the texture intact through regular footfall. Forbo backs it with a 10-year commercial warranty, so you're covered for the long run.
