## Description

Coal Stone is a dark grey safety sheet vinyl that grips underfoot. The stone-effect finish works in bathrooms, kitchens and wet areas where a slip-resistant surface matters. Unlike a standard floor, it keeps its grip even when damp, and you get a real-stone look without the cold, hard feel.

This [Forbo Surestep Material](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/forbo-surestep-material) carries an R10 anti-slip rating. That means it meets the highest safety standard for domestic and commercial settings. Kitchens, bathrooms, WCs and hospitality spaces all suit it. Its PVC backing is waterproof, so spills and spray won't seep through or cause damage below.

### Installation and heating

Coal Stone is a glue-down vinyl, so you'll need adhesive and a prepared subfloor. No underlay is required. It works with underfloor heating systems, making it a practical choice for renovated kitchens and bathrooms where you want radiant warmth.

### Looking after it

Clean it like any vinyl floor. Wipe spills quickly. A damp cloth and mild detergent handle day-to-day marks. It resists moisture and staining, so high-traffic wet areas and [Forbo Surestep Safety](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/forbo-surestep-safety) flooring perform well in demanding homes and [Commercial Vinyl Flooring](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/commercial-vinyl) settings alike.

Forbo backs it with a 10-year warranty, covering wear and defects under normal use.
