## Description

Forbo Tessera Accord in Oyster Essence 4705 is a beige loop-pile carpet tile designed for high-traffic commercial settings. The light, neutral tone suits open-plan offices, breakout spaces and reception areas. It takes the wear and keeps its looks across the working day.

The 500mm square format gives you design flexibility. Lay them in a simple grid, stagger the seams, or create directional patterns to mask traffic routes and add visual interest to a dull space.

### Specifications

- 500mm x 500mm tiles, 6.4mm thick
- 16 tiles per pack, 4m2 coverage
- Solution-dyed polyamide pile, 605g/m2 density
- Polyester backing with monolithic installation
- Sound insulation: 24dB

Solution dyeing locks colour into the fibre before production. Spills don't bind to the surface in the same way as surface-dyed tile. Stains sit on top, which means they're easier to lift with a cloth and a mild detergent.

The loop pile is dense and springy underfoot. It traps fine dust and debris between the loops, which a vacuum will pull out. In a busy corridor or reception, this matters. Dust that would sit on a hard floor gets held in the pile until you clean it.

### Where it works

Tessera Accord is rated for commercial use. It suits offices, retail shops, hotels, leisure facilities and any space where durability and easy maintenance come first. The neutral beige works alongside most colour schemes and hides minor wear better than pale greys.

### Installation

Monolithic backing means you glue each tile fully to the subfloor. The tiles lock down immediately, so foot traffic begins within hours. This method suits spaces where you need rapid turnaround and minimal downtime.

### Maintenance

Vacuum twice a week in normal traffic, more often in high-use zones. For spills, blot with a dry cloth first, then wipe with a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Rinse with clean water. The solution-dyed pile resists most common stains and fading, even in bright sunlight.
