## Description

Baleine 7438 is a medium blue speckled sheet vinyl that brings safety and practicality to wet areas and high-traffic spaces. The R10 anti-slip surface grips underfoot, cutting slip risks in kitchens, bathrooms and commercial settings. It looks clean and understated, letting the safety do the talking.

At 2mm thick with an 0.85mm wear layer, it stands up to daily use without flinching. The PVC backing keeps it stable and waterproof. You get a 2 metre roll width and can order up to 20 metres in a single length, making it straightforward to fit larger areas without seams where you need them.

### Where it works

Kitchens, bathrooms, WCs and commercial kitchens all suit this flooring. The waterproof surface handles splashes and standing water with ease. The R10 slip rating makes it safe around wet floors and slippery zones. It's tough enough for retail, factories and hospitality settings where safety matters.

### Installation and preparation

Baleine 7438 is a glue-down sheet vinyl, so you'll need to stick it directly to a sound, clean subfloor. No underlay is required. It works with underfloor heating systems, so you can warm the room without worrying about the floor itself.

### Looking after it

Wipe spills as they happen and sweep or vacuum regularly. A damp mop keeps it clean. The waterproof surface resists staining and damage from moisture, so drying isn't critical. Gerflor backs the [Gerflor Tarasafe Standard](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/gerflor-tarasafe-standard) range with a 10-year commercial warranty, giving you confidence in its durability across busy environments.
