## Description

Oolong is a dark grey patterned carpet tile that works hard in commercial and office settings. The dense nylon loop pile stands up to heavy foot traffic and daily wear, whilst the subtle pattern hides marks and dirt. You get a practical floor that looks professional and stays looking that way.

These tiles suit open-plan offices, meeting rooms, corridors and reception areas. The pattern works with most contemporary schemes, and the neutral grey tone keeps the focus on your space, not the floor. If you're fitting [Commercial Carpet Tiles](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/commercial-carpet-tiles) across a larger commercial project, Oolong scales easily thanks to its modular design.

### Specifications

- 500mm x 500mm tiles, 20 per pack
- Nylon loop pile, 2.9mm high
- 6.2mm total thickness
- 4300g/m² pile weight
- Bitumen backing
- Use Classification 33, medium to heavy commercial use
- 25dB sound insulation
- 10-year commercial warranty

The loop pile resists crushing and matting even in high-traffic zones. Pile weight of 4300g/m² means the tile holds its shape and colour under demand. Sound insulation of 25dB helps absorb noise in busy environments, reducing the echo and clatter of a typical office floor.

### Installation and heating

These tiles are compatible with underfloor heating systems, so you can warm your space without replacing the floor. Standard gluedown fitting applies, and the modular format means you can lay them in minutes without specialist tools. Whether you're refreshing a single department or outfitting a new build, the tiles go down straightforward and fast.

### Maintenance and warranty

Day-to-day cleaning is simple. Vacuum regularly to lift dust and debris. For marks and spills, blot with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The nylon pile resists staining, though prompt action on spills keeps the floor looking fresh. [The Floor Hub carpet tiles](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/the-floor-hub) come with a 10-year commercial warranty, giving you confidence in durability and performance over the long term.
