## Description

Marl is a plain medium grey that works hard in offices, meeting rooms and light commercial areas. The textured needlefelt pile sits at 3.5mm deep, which means it holds up to foot traffic without looking worn. This is carpet tile flooring that doesn't need fussing, yet still feels underfoot.

Each tile is 500mm square, fitting neatly into modern office layouts. You get 16 tiles per pack, covering 4m². The polypropylene material takes knocks, spills and the daily grind of commercial use. Pile weight of 5430g/m² gives you density without heaviness.

### Where it works

Marl suits offices, corporate spaces and commercial environments. The neutral grey blends with most colour schemes and hides minor marks. [Commercial Carpet Tiles](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/commercial-carpet-tiles) from this range handle rated use class 33, so it's fit for busy foot traffic. Choose [Carpet Tiles](https://flooringking.co.uk/category/carpet-tiles) for their flexibility, too: lift and replace single tiles if one gets damaged, rather than re-doing the whole floor.

### Installation and heating

Bitumen backing allows direct stick-down fixing. The tiles are compatible with underfloor heating, so you can warm a chilly office or commercial space without swapping the floor.

### Looking after it

Vacuum weekly to lift dust and debris. Spot clean spills with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The textured pile resists staining and the polypropylene won't degrade under normal commercial wear. A 10-year commercial warranty covers manufacturing defects.
