Can Palio Rigid be installed over existing floors?
Yes, Palio Rigid can be installed directly over most existing hard floor surfaces, provided they’re level and stable. The 4.5mm thickness with integrated underlay compensates for minor subfloor imperfections, making it ideal for renovation projects.
Does Palio Rigid require expansion gaps?
Yes, like most click-lock flooring, Palio Rigid requires a 5mm expansion gap around the room perimeter to allow for natural expansion and contraction. These gaps can be covered with matching scotia beading or skirting boards for a professional finish.
