Flooring King started in 2022, with two friends and a simple frustration: an industry making insane margins on materials, when the real skill, and the part worth paying for, is fitting the floor, not marking up the box.
Liam Cleverdon and Jamie Hall came at that problem from opposite ends. Liam came up through flooring; he knew the products, the trade, and exactly how big the gap was between what a floor costs and what people were being charged for it. Jamie came from development and e-commerce, and knew how to build the kind of online business that could close that gap, and scale.
If you can’t find the brand you are looking for on the website, the floor isn’t worth it or they want people to sell it at a high markup. We only work with the best in the industry.

Stocked, not "available to order"
If it's on the site, it's in the warehouse. We hold millions of square metres of stock across our depots, and most orders ship next day.

2022
From zero.
We started with nothing in the bank and everything to prove. No outside investment, no safety net, just two founders, a better idea and a skillset that nobody in the industry possesses, and the determination to build it the hard way.

2023
The first hires.
Demand outgrew Liam in operations. We brought our first team members on board, the start of building a company, not just running one.

2023–24
20,000 Customers
By the end of our second year we'd broken 20,000 unique customers, proof the model worked and that people were ready for flooring done honestly and direct.

2024
Our first home.
We moved into our first dedicated offices and warehouse, the infrastructure to grow properly.

Scaling, month on month
Steady, relentless growth. More stock, more ranges, more customers, getting bigger every single month without losing what made us different.
