Alsa Flooring Solid Plus is a mid-range laminate that suits busy homes and commercial spaces. It combines an HDF core board with a water-resistant surface, click fixing, and a registered emboss texture that feels closer to real wood underfoot. You get a solid performer at a fair price, backed by a 35-year warranty.

The range comes in two widths, 214mm and 143mm, so you can choose the plank size to suit your room and the look you want. Both click together without tools, and both resist water splashes and moisture. The micro bevelled edging gives each plank a defined edge that adds depth to the floor.

What the Solid Plus range offers

Every board in this Alsa Flooring range has the same build and the same protection. The 12mm thickness is sturdy enough for domestic kitchens and hallways, and for light commercial use. A registered emboss texture means the surface bumps and dips match the wood-grain print, so it looks real and feels less slippery underfoot. The water-resistant core keeps the board stable if you spill. Micro bevelled edges between each plank catch the light and stop the joins looking flat.

Choosing the right width

Most products are 214mm wide, the wider plank option. This suits larger rooms and modern looks, and covers floor space quickly. The narrower 143mm width is better if you have an older home or want a busier, more detailed visual pattern. Narrower planks also work well in tight spaces or corridors.

Rooms and settings

Alsa Flooring Solid Plus works in family kitchens and dining areas where spills happen. Bathrooms are fine too, so long as you wipe up standing water and ventilate the room well. The water-resistant core and click system make it reliable underfoot. It is also suitable for light commercial settings like retail floors or small offices where foot traffic is moderate.

How it fits

Click fixing means you simply slot each board into the last one. No nails, no adhesive, no specialist tools. You can fit it yourself over an underlay, or have it installed. The planks sit on top of the subfloor, so they work over concrete, timber, and existing tiles if the surface is flat and dry. Check your subfloor is sound and level before you start.
