Forbo carpet tiles are commercial flooring made in Britain to handle heavy foot traffic and the rigour of busy spaces. Built from polyamide and solution-dyed for colour fast results, they sit at 6.4mm thick on a 500mm square base. All tiles across the range glue down and come with a 10-year warranty.

The Carpet Tiles category spans many brands and styles, but Forbo holds its own in commercial settings. Its Tessera Accord range delivers pattern-led design, from soft greys and warm beiges through to black, brown, green and blue options. Each tile holds sound at 24dB and meets castor chair approval, so wheels roll without catching and offices stay quieter.

Where Forbo carpet tiles work best

These are designed for commercial use. Offices, reception areas, hotel corridors and retail spaces all benefit from the glue-down hold and the pattern that hides wear. The polyamide build also resists stains when spills are tackled quickly. Beige and grey lead the colour range, making them neutral enough to suit most colour schemes and interior finishes.

Fixing and fitting

Forbo tiles glue down to level substrates using approved adhesive. Once set, they stay put through daily use and wheeled-chair movement. The 500mm square format makes them quick to lay in straight runs or staggered patterns. No underlay is needed. If a tile wears or stains beyond cleaning, you can lift and replace a single square without disturbing the rest of the floor.
