Do you charge a fee for using a credit card?

No. UK retailers haven't been allowed to add a card surcharge since 2018, and we don't add one. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, regardless of card type.

When is my card actually charged?

For card and PayPal payments, the full amount is taken when you place the order, that's how we reserve your stock. For Pay in 3/4 (PayPal or ClearPay), the first instalment is taken at checkout and the rest are scheduled automatically by the provider.

Will Pay in X affect my credit score?

No. Both PayPal Pay in 3 and ClearPay in 4 use a soft credit search, which doesn't leave a footprint on your credit report. There's no impact on your score for applying or being approved.

Do you offer monthly finance over a longer term?

No, we don't offer traditional finance with monthly instalments over 12 or 24 months. The longest plan we offer is Pay in 3, which spreads the cost across three monthly payments interest-free. For larger orders, a bank transfer is usually the easiest route. However we do support PayPal credit.

Can I pay by bank transfer?

Yes. Choose Bank transfer at checkout and we'll email you our IBAN with the order confirmation. We hold your stock while we wait for funds to clear — usually within a couple of hours by Faster Payment. Useful when an order is over your card's daily limit.

Refunds always go back to the original payment method. Card and PayPal refunds typically clear within 5 working days. Pay in 3 schedules are reversed and any future instalments cancelled. Bank transfer refunds go back to the account the original payment came from.

Clearpay lends you a fixed amount of credit so you can pay for your purchase over 4 instalments, due every 2 weeks. Ensure you can make repayments on time. You must be 18+ and a permanent UK resident (excl Channel Islands). Clearpay charges a £6 late fee for each late instalment and a further £6 if it's still unpaid 7 days later. Late fees are capped at £6 for orders under £24 and the lower of £24 or 25% of the order value for orders over £24. Missed payments may affect your ability to use Clearpay in the future and your details may be passed onto a debt collection agency working on Clearpay's behalf.
