How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Linen Oak brings a soft, natural warmth to any room. Its pale oak tone sits neutral enough for modern schemes yet works just as well in traditional spaces. The registered emboss texture catches light like real wood grain, whilst the micro bevelled edges add subtle detail without the fuss of a real timber floor.

This is laminate that handles the everyday. Water-resistant protection means spills won’t leave you panicking, and the AC6 wear class takes whatever your household throws at it. Six planks per pack cover 1.651 square metres, so planning runs smoothly.

What you’re getting

12mm thickness for solid underfoot feel
Micro bevelled edges for real wood detailing
HDF core board with registered emboss texture
Water-resistant surface
Click installation, no adhesive needed
35-year warranty

Linen Oak suits living spaces, kitchens and hallways where durability matters. The water resistance handles moisture without flinching, making it practical for busy homes. Alsa Flooring Solid Plus holds its surface through years of footfall, and the click system gets it laid without mess or delay.

Looking after it

Wipe spills straight away and sweep or vacuum regularly to keep dust clear. Avoid standing water and use a damp mop sparingly. The registered emboss surface resists staining and scuffing, so your floor looks newer for longer. Alsa Flooring backs the range with a 35-year warranty covering wear and defects.
