Installing laminate flooring is a straightforward process thanks to its click-lock system. Once you’ve cleaned and levelled your subfloor and installed an underlay, cut your boards to size and start laying alongside the longest wall in your room. Click each new board into place, and repeat row-by-row until your whole floor is covered. Be sure to stagger your joints for stability and an authentic look.

To clean laminate flooring, start by vacuuming or sweeping away any loose dirt. Then, mix warm water with a mild detergent or washing-up liquid. Using a well-wrung mop (no water should be dripping from it when lifted), clean your floors using this solution, then remove any excess water using a microfibre cloth or mop.
