How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Ivory Oak brings a soft, pale warmth to any room. The textured brushed surface catches the light without looking glossy, and the wood grain runs true and natural. Wide planks, 190mm across, make spaces feel bigger and cleaner than narrow boards ever could. It’s the look of real oak without the fuss of sanding or sealing.

This is Quick-Step Impressive laminate, and it’s built to take what you throw at it. The water-resistant core handles spills in the kitchen or humidity in the bathroom. Underfloor heating works with it, so you can have warm feet in winter without compromise. An AC4 rating means it’ll stand up to moderate to heavy household traffic, and busy family use, for years.
