Laminate Click Flooring

Click-lock laminate flooring uses a tongue-and-groove system to connect each board. While other laminate flooring options may require nails or adhesive to stay in place, click laminate can be floated to rest on your subfloor without the need for extra materials. It’s also easy to clean laminate flooring without investing in expensive chemicals.

Click-lock laminate flooring is particularly well-suited for high-traffic areas, such as hallways, kitchens, and living rooms. It’s less well-suited for rooms with high humidity or temperature fluctuations, like basements or bathrooms.

When installing click laminate, make sure your subfloor is clean, level, and covered with a suitable underlay to protect your materials. Then, line up a board with your wall, and click a row of others into place until you’ve covered the length of your room. You can then continue across the rest of your room, clicking each row into place as you go.
