Forbo Surestep Material in Cool Concrete delivers a light to medium grey concrete look without the cold underfoot or the staining risk. It’s a 2mm thick PVC sheet that gives you the industrial aesthetic in a practical, water-resistant format suited to spaces where grip and cleanability matter.

The R10 anti-slip surface is built to handle wet environments. Kitchens, bathrooms, WCs and commercial food prep areas all get the same assured footing, whether someone’s rushed in from outside with damp shoes or the floor’s just been mopped. That grip stays stable through the wear layer, which is rated for both heavy domestic use (Class 34) and light commercial traffic (Class 43).

The whole sheet is waterproof, so splashes and spillages won’t soak through. It comes in 2m roll widths, available in 25m lengths, so you can often cover a larger space with fewer joins. Installation is glue down, and the backing is PVC, which means it sits stable on the subfloor without underlay required.

Looking after it
