This is real oak, not a printed image. The rustic grade means knots and character marks are part of the look. Installation and underfloor heating

This is a click-fit floating floor. Planks lock together without adhesive, so fitting is quick and you can walk on it immediately. The engineered base keeps it stable over underfloor heating systems where solid wood might move. Underlay is required before you lay it down, so factor that into your plan.

Caring for it

Oiled wood needs a little more attention than sealed finishes. Vacuum or sweep regularly, then wipe with a damp (not wet) cloth. For marked patches, use a soft-bristle brush and a touch of mild soap. The oil feeds the wood over time but does not create a protective layer like varnish does, so spills need prompt wiping. Avoid standing water and excess moisture in kitchens and bathrooms.
