This is Engineered Wood Flooring, so it sits on a multi-ply base. That means it’s more stable than solid wood, responds better to changes in temperature and humidity, and costs less. The 2.5mm wear layer is thick enough for sanding and refinishing down the line if you choose to.

Installation

The click system means quick, straightforward fitting. It’s a floating installation, so you don’t glue or screw it down. Underlay is required. The flooring is compatible with underfloor heating, so if you have it in your home, this works fine over it.

Looking after it

Matt lacquer is tougher than it looks and easier to keep clean than you might expect. Sweep or vacuum regularly, wipe spills promptly and use a damp mop if needed. Avoid standing water. The matt finish hides dust and fingerprints better than gloss, so day-to-day maintenance is simple. The 25-year warranty covers manufacturing defects and gives you real peace of mind. If the wear layer does eventually show signs of age, the thickness means you can sand and refinish it, keeping the wood looking fresh for years more.
