Why choose dark LVT flooring?

Dark LVT gives you the visual depth of stained hardwood with none of the maintenance. It’s 100% waterproof, takes everyday family wear without scratching, and installs over almost any subfloor. The textured wear layer is what sets premium dark LVT apart — it catches light the way real timber would, so the floor doesn’t look flat in low light.

The two questions we hear most:

  • Click vs glue-down? Click is faster (DIY-able) and easier to lift if a board fails. Glue-down is rock-solid underfoot, used in commercial fits, and slightly cheaper per m².
  • Will dark LVT show dust? Yes, more than mid-tone floors, but micro-textured surfaces (most of our range) reduce visible dust significantly compared to gloss vinyl.

Choose 4mm+ rigid-core (SPC) for kitchens and high-traffic zones, or 2.5mm dryback if you’re laying over underfloor heating. Compare with our wider LVT collection or step up to dark engineered wood.
