How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Truffle Oak brings a rich, warm depth to your home. This natural oak-effect laminate sits between grey and brown, woody enough to feel authentic but neutral enough to work with most colour schemes. The bevelled edges and textured surface give it presence without fuss, and it handles the real-world demands of your space without the upkeep of solid wood.

Quick-Step Impressive is water resistant, which means it bounces back from spills. Bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms – it takes them in its stride. The 8mm HDF core board and AC4 wear class mean it stands up to daily traffic and the occasional scrape. If your home runs on underfloor heating, this flooring works with it.
