How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Where it works

Cathedral Oak suits bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and living areas without hesitation. It’s equally at home in bedrooms, dining rooms, utility spaces and even offices. Luxury Vinyl Tiles like this one are built for high-traffic zones and damp conditions that would challenge real wood.

Installation and care

This is a glue-down installation. No underlay is needed, and it works with underfloor heating systems, so you can add warmth without worry. Cleaning is straightforward: sweep regularly and mop with a damp cloth. Spills and splashes pose no problem to the waterproof surface.

Cathedral Oak comes with a 25-year residential warranty and a 10-year commercial warranty, giving you solid peace of mind whether it’s in your family home or a busy office space.
