Quick-Step Muse Grey Slate MUS5493

This Grey Slate MUS5493 laminate brings a cool, modern tile look to your home without the cost or upkeep of real slate. The textured surface mimics natural stone grain, whilst the dark grey tone works in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and living spaces alike. It sits well in both period and contemporary schemes.

The water-resistant finish shields against splashes and damp, making it a solid choice for areas that get wet. You get the practical benefit of laminate (no sealing, no staining) with the look you want.

Installation and heating

Click installation means you fit planks together without glue, speeding up the job and keeping mess to a minimum. The flooring works with underfloor heating systems, so you can warm the room without replacing the boards. Underlay is required to protect the HDF core and improve comfort underfoot.

Rooms it suits

This tile-effect Laminate Flooring fits bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms and downstairs cloakrooms where water resistance matters. It also works well in bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, halls and stairs, and office spaces.

Looking after it

Wipe spills straight away and sweep regularly to keep grit off the surface. The water-resistant coating does its job, but standing water and heavy wet cleaning will damage the core, so dry the floor promptly. Clean with a damp (not wet) cloth and a laminate-specific cleaner.

You get a lifetime warranty on the product, plus a 5-year commercial warranty if you fit it in a business setting. That’s serious backing for a tile-look that won’t fade or peel.
