Lano Star Twist Supreme Rainstorm

Rainstorm is a deep, neutral blue in the Lano Star Twist Supreme carpet range. Its plain twist pile gives a smooth, flat look that hides footmarks and dirt between cleans. The dark tone works across period and modern homes alike, suiting everything from hallways and landings to living rooms and bedrooms.

What sets this carpet apart is its Bleach Cleanable Carpets backing. Spill red wine or pet accidents happen in every home. Rainstorm lets you clean stains with bleach-based solutions without risk to the pile, so your carpet stays fresh longer and costs less to maintain.

The polypropylene twist pile is hard-wearing. It handles daily life in the busiest rooms, from school runs and muddy boots to the odd dropped glass. The dual backing adds stability underfoot and protects against moisture.

Where it works

Rainstorm suits bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, landings and living spaces. The dark blue absorbs light and works in rooms with north-facing windows or during winter months without feeling heavy. It’s equally at home in period properties and contemporary builds.

Installation

The carpet uses gripper fitting, the standard method in UK homes. Underlay is required and helps with comfort and sound absorption. Rainstorm is compatible with underfloor heating systems, so you can warm the room underneath without risk to the pile.

Looking after it

Vacuum regularly to lift surface dirt. For spills, blot with a cloth. The bleach-cleanable backing means you can treat stains with diluted household bleach if needed, then rinse with water and blot dry. This makes it an excellent choice for homes with children or pets. The carpet comes with a 10-year warranty.
