Balta Gala Fieldstone

Balta Gala Fieldstone is a light grey loop-pile carpet that takes spills in its stride. The bleach-cleanable surface means you can tackle stains directly without fuss, and the stain-resistant pile keeps marks from setting in. It’s soft underfoot and suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and stairs in homes where life gets busy.

The 850g/m² pile weight and 9mm thickness give the carpet body and cushion. A 5mm loop pile sits on a felt back, which is durable and stable underfoot. You’ll find it comes in 30-metre roll lengths, so there’s flexibility for bigger spaces.

Where it works

Carpet of this grade suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, halls and stairs. It’s classed for domestic use (22), so it handles family traffic well. If you’re shopping for cheap carpets that don’t compromise on durability, this one delivers.

Fitting and care

It’s fitted using gripper rods, the standard method for domestic carpet. You’ll need underlay beneath it for comfort and to extend life. Avoid underfloor heating with this one, as it’s not compatible.

Cleaning is straightforward. Vacuum regularly to lift dirt, and use a damp cloth for general marks. For stains, you can use household bleach on the surface without fear of damage. Balta backs it with a 10-year warranty against wear and staining.
