How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Where it works

These tiles excel in offices, meeting rooms and commercial settings where foot traffic flows throughout the day. Carpet Tiles like Supacord also suit retail spaces, receptions and break areas. They’re not waterproof, so keep them away from kitchens or wet rooms.

Installation and underfloor heating

Supacord tiles fix with bitumen adhesive for a permanent, stable fit. The system works with underfloor heating, so you can add warmth without worrying about the flooring. Heckmondwike Carpet Tiles are straightforward to lay and leave no room for movement once down.

Looking after it

Regular vacuuming keeps Aquamarine fresh. Spot-clean spills as they happen with a damp cloth. The deep colour masks marks between cleans, cutting maintenance time in busy offices. Heckmondwike backs the Supacord range with a solid 15-year commercial warranty, giving you confidence in the long-term investment.
