How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Broadrib Fuchsia is a bold, deep pink carpet tile built for commercial spaces where durability counts. The rich, dark fuchsia colour brings energy to offices, meeting rooms and high-traffic corridors without showing wear. With a plain weave and a substantial pile weight of 3670g/m2, these tiles hold their colour and shape through constant footfall.

Each tile measures 500mm by 500mm, giving you flexibility in layout and easy spot replacement if one tile gets damaged. A pack of 20 covers 5m2 and weighs 25kg, so plan your delivery accordingly. The 7mm thickness sits comfortably underfoot and works with underfloor heating systems if you need that.

Made from a blend of polyamide, polypropylene and recycled polyester with a bitumen backing, Broadrib tiles sit in the heavy commercial (Class 33) bracket. This means they cope with busy offices, reception areas and light commercial settings day in, day out. A 15-year commercial warranty backs your investment.

Installation is straightforward with a glue-down method using the bitumen backing. Once laid, the tiles need only regular vacuuming to keep them fresh.
