These are plain-weave tiles with real substance. At 7mm thick with a pile weight of 3670g/m2, they sit firm underfoot and bounce back from wear. The backing is bitumen, so they stay put once laid and handle underfloor heating without any fuss. You get 20 tiles per pack, each 500mm x 500mm, which makes planning and installation straightforward.

What it’s made from

• Polyamide, polypropylene and recycled polyester blend
• 7mm pile thickness
• 3670g/m2 pile weight
• Bitumen backing
• 20 tiles per pack, 500mm x 500mm each
• Use classification 33 (medium to heavy commercial use)

The mix of fibres, including recycled polyester, keeps the tiles tough and stable through years of footfall. Heckmondwike Broadrib Carpet Tiles are a proven choice for the commercial market, and this red option fits well into modern office schemes.

Where it works

Red Broadrib tiles suit open offices, corridors, breakout spaces and commercial interiors where a plain, solid colour works best. They’re not waterproof, so keep them out of wet rooms and kitchens. Underfloor heating is fine, if your subfloor has that installed.

Looking after them

Maintenance is routine. Vacuum regularly and spot-clean as needed. The tiles are modular, so if one gets damaged, you can replace just that one without touching the rest. Heckmondwike Carpet Tiles come with a 15-year commercial warranty, giving you solid peace of mind in a busy workplace.
