How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Where it works

Built for heavy footfall, Chalfont Chandlers takes class 33 commercial traffic. It suits offices, reception areas, call centres and retail showrooms. Carpet Tiles for Offices like this one let you replace worn patches without lifting the whole floor. The black colour masks marks and dirt, which matters in a busy workplace. These tiles lay straight onto prepared concrete or screeded subfloors. They’re compatible with underfloor heating systems, so you can warm your space without hassle. The bitumen backing gives grip and stability on level surfaces.
