How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. The Floor Hub Dahlia Mignon brings a warm, neutral look to any commercial setting. Beige and brown tones meet in a subtle stripe, adding visual interest without fuss. The loop pile holds its colour and shape under foot traffic, making it a practical choice for offices and busy work areas.

These Commercial Carpet Tiles sit at classification 33, meaning they cope well with moderate to heavy use. Each tile measures 500mm square with a 3mm pile and 6mm total thickness. You get 20 tiles per pack, covering 5 square metres. The nylon fibre and bitumen backing give the tile stability and durability.

Sound matters in an open office. This tile delivers 21dB of acoustic insulation, dulling footfall and general noise. It works with underfloor heating too, so retrofit warmth fits without a fuss.

Installation is straightforward. Lay the tiles loose or glue them down depending on your space. They’re simple to replace if one tile takes heavy wear or gets marked, without touching the rest of the floor.

The Floor Hub carpet tiles come backed by a 10-year commercial warranty. Regular vacuuming keeps them fresh. Spot-clean spills quickly and they’ll sit well in your scheme for years.
