How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Where it works

Nash excels in offices, meeting rooms and open-plan work areas where foot traffic demands durability. The dark shade masks dirt and staining well, so it suits reception areas and breakout spaces too. As part of The Floor Hub carpet tiles range, it pairs well with other commercial options for mixed-use layouts. For high-volume settings, check out Commercial Carpet Tiles that can handle the load.

Installation

Tiles are glued directly to the subfloor. The system works with underfloor heating, so you can keep offices comfortable without pulling up tiles. Ensure your subfloor is clean, dry and level before laying.

Looking after it and warranty

Vacuum regularly and spot-clean spills immediately with a damp cloth. The bitumen backing stays firm, and the nylon pile resists pilling. You get a 10-year commercial warranty, giving real peace of mind in any office environment.
