Forbo Surestep Original Slate Grey

Forbo Surestep Original in Slate Grey is a safety-first sheet vinyl designed to grip even when wet. Its speckled medium grey finish works in modern and traditional rooms alike, from family kitchens to healthcare settings.

The R10 anti-slip rating gives you reliable grip underfoot. That matters in spaces where water and spills are routine. You get a genuine non-slip surface, not a decorative one, tested to ISO standards.

This is Sheet Vinyl Flooring built for function. The PVC backing and waterproof top layer mean spills sit on the surface, not soaking through. A 0.7mm wear layer keeps the grip and colour stable through daily traffic. It handles Class 34 and 43 use, so it suits busy commercial kitchens and small care facilities as well as your home.

What you get

• 2m wide rolls, 25m long per roll
• 2mm total thickness
• 0.7mm wear layer
• PVC backing for stability
• Waterproof throughout
• R10 slip resistance rating
• 10-year warranty

Installation is straightforward glue-down. No underlay needed. If you have underfloor heating, this vinyl works with it, so you can keep warmth running underneath without worry.

Looking after it takes minutes. Damp-mop with water and a mild detergent. The waterproof surface resists staining and won’t break down from constant cleaning. That resilience is why Forbo Surestep Original appears in canteens, care homes and wet commercial spaces.

Slate Grey works in bathrooms where other floorings slip and slide, kitchens where splashes are daily, and utility areas where grip and durability matter. It comes with a 10-year warranty backing its performance.
