How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. JHS Triumph Loop 613 Oak Brown brings a warm, medium brown tone to commercial spaces. The plain loop pile creates a clean, professional look that suits busy offices and public areas. Loop construction resists wear and maintains its finish underfoot, so your investment stays looking fresh year after year.

Each tile is 500mm by 500mm, giving you a modular system that’s easy to fit and replace if needed. Buy one pack and you get 20 tiles covering 5m² of floor. The nylon pile stands at 3.5mm with a total thickness of 5.5mm, backed by bitumen and non-woven fleece. Weight is a solid 500g/m², delivering durability where it counts.

Sound matters in offices. These tiles achieve 21dB of insulation, reducing the clatter of footsteps and everyday noise. That creates a calmer, more productive environment for your team or clients.

Installation is glue-down, so tiles stay in place without moving. The backing is compatible with underfloor heating, meaning you can add warmth without compromise. If you’re part of the JHS Triumph Carpet Tiles family, these fit your wider scheme seamlessly.

Maintenance is straightforward. Vacuum regularly to lift dirt and dust. For spills, blot promptly with a damp cloth. The bitumen backing and nylon pile resist moisture and staining, so day-to-day mess won’t cause lasting damage.

JHS backs these with a 10-year commercial warranty, reflecting the durability you can expect. Perfect for offices, retail spaces and other commercial environments, or explore other Commercial Carpet Tiles if you’re comparing options. JHS Triumph delivers the toughness your business needs.
