Woodplank Designs

Create a variety of looks by experimenting with different plank layouts for a classic or contemporary scheme. We have numerous styles and sizes to choose from with our authentic large planks in Art Select, Van Gogh and Opus collections to slim and sophisticated looks in Da Vinci.

Laying Patterns

You can arrange planks running straight down the length of a room for a simple but authentic look or for smaller rooms why not try laying your planks on a diagonal to give the appearance of a wider space.

Ships Decking Effect

If you are looking for something a bit different try adding decorative strips in between each plank which we call ships decking to really define your floor. Choose a decorative strip as a contrast to your main floor to create a feature around your furnishings or define the shape of your room.

Add a Border

Allow your imagination to run free and create a floor that is unique to you -from a simple angled tramline perimeter strip to a smooth and sumptuous Keyline curve, anything is possible with Karndean Designflooring.

Da Vinci Wood Flooring

If you value the timeless appeal of a classic wood look but don’t want the drawbacks of the real thing, Da Vinci’s traditional wood finishes are an elegant and durable alternative. We’ve given each slender plank a smooth surface and distinctive angled edge to create a really defined look.

Our Da Vinci floor tile collection offers the rich textures of natural stone, slate, limestone and ceramic but with a comforting softness and warmth, unique to Designflooring. The angled edges create definition to each tile and a range of feature strips enables you to choose a realistic ‘finishing touch’ to complete your look.

Da Vinci Residential Guarantee

The Da Vinci range has a lifetime residential guarantee.

Karndean Designflooring is hardwearing and is easy to clean and look after. Our enhanced surface treatment helps protect against everyday wear, spills and scuffs.

This makes it easier and more environmentally friendly to clean and maintain your floor, giving you peace of mind that your Karndean floor will look great for years to come.

Should any part of the floor become damaged, the individual tile and plank format means you can easily replace the damaged plank or tile.

Add a design strip to your floor

Karndean Designflooring has a wide range of personalisation options to help you achieve a unique look for your room. Why not try a design strip between wood effect planks for a different effect or to replicate the gaps between real wood floor boards?
You can also use design strips as borders around the edge of your room or around a key feature such as a fireplace or kitchen island unit. Thinner 3mm and 5mm strips can be used as keyline borders or in combination with wider 10mm, 30mm or 76mm widths to form a tramline design.
