Polyflor Polysafe Astral Arkose 4190

Polysafe Astral in Arkose 4190 is a medium orange sheet vinyl with a speckled finish that works hard in kitchens, bathrooms, offices and commercial settings. The R10 slip rating gives you grip underfoot even when wet, making it a smart choice for busy food prep areas, staff rest rooms and any space where safety matters. It’s waterproof and tough enough for the daily wear of a commercial kitchen or a family home that takes its mess seriously.

This is Safety Vinyl Flooring from Polyflor sheet vinyl flooring built to last. The 2mm PVC construction sits on a PVC backing, giving you stability and sound damping of 4dB. It needs no underlay and handles waterlogged conditions without swelling or breaking down. Glue it straight down to a clean, dry subfloor and it’ll stay put for years.

Where it works

Arkose 4190 suits kitchens and bathrooms in both homes and commercial premises. It’s at home in staff areas, canteens, care facilities and hospitality settings. Commercial Vinyl Flooring of this calibre also works in offices and wet rooms where slip resistance is a legal or practical must. The speckled texture masks daily wear and soil far better than a solid colour would.

Installation

Polysafe Astral is a glue-down vinyl. Fix it to a sound, level subfloor using vinyl adhesive. You don’t need underlay. Underfloor heating is not compatible with this product.

Warranty and upkeep

Polyflor backs this floor with a 10-year commercial warranty. Clean it with a damp mop and mild detergent, or a specialist vinyl cleaner for heavier grime. Rinse well and dry. The sealed surface won’t trap water or harbour bacteria, so it’s fit for food preparation areas and clinical environments alike.
