Tempest is a medium grey mottled carpet tile that sits at the practical end of commercial flooring. The 2mm loop pile in nylon takes knocks and keeps its look, while the bitumen backing anchors each tile firmly in place. You get a consistent, understated finish that hides wear marks and dust in busy spaces.

These tiles work well in offices, open-plan spaces and corridors where foot traffic runs heavy. They’re classified for use level 33, which means they’ll stand up to sustained commercial demands. The mottled style absorbs light and marks without drawing attention, so your space stays neat-looking longer.

Installation is straightforward. The tiles click or gluedown depending on your preference, and they’re compatible with underfloor heating if your specification calls for it. Lay them in a staggered bond or straight pattern to suit your layout.

Commercial Carpet Tiles in this weight class typically wear well in kitchens and reception areas, but avoid wet rooms. The bitumen backing resists moisture better than some alternatives, though it’s not fully waterproof. Spills should be wiped up promptly.

Keep them clean with regular vacuum or dry sweeping. For ground-in marks, a spot cleaner works, but don’t oversaturate. You’ll get 10 years’ cover under the commercial warranty, which protects against wear and manufacturing fault. If a single tile gets damaged, you can lift it out and replace it without disrupting the rest of your floor.
