How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. The Floor Hub Prism in Gorgeous Red brings a bold, confident finish to any office or commercial space. This medium red shade works well in modern work settings where you want colour without fuss. What you get

500mm x 500mm tiles, 8mm thick overall

20 tiles per pack (covers 5m²)
Bitumen backing for stability
Classification 32 for commercial use
Sound insulation rated 28dB

These are true commercial commercial carpet tiles, built for offices, retail environments and busy public spaces. They handle heavy footfall without showing wear, and the plain weave keeps cleaning straightforward. Stains and spills are easier to deal with when a single tile can be lifted and replaced if needed.

Underfloor heating compatible, so they fit seamlessly into properties with heat systems already in place. Installation is simple and quick. No adhesive mess on every tile, no weeks of curing time. Lay them and go.

Looking after them

Regular vacuuming keeps them clean. Spillages wipe or blot away from the surface. The bitumen backing resists moisture from below, which matters in commercial settings. If a tile takes real damage, swap it out for another from your spare pack without affecting the rest of the floor.

The Floor Hub backs these tiles with a 10-year commercial warranty, giving you confidence in their durability. Part of the broader carpet tiles range, they combine practical performance with professional finish.
