How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Forbo Tessera Create Space 1 in Serpentine 1826 is a deep green carpet tile built for commercial spaces. The dark, neutral tone suits modern offices and open-plan areas where you need a floor that won’t show everyday wear. Loop pile construction at 500g/m2 delivers comfort underfoot and sound control in busy environments.

Specifications

Thickness: 5.5mm
Pile: Loop, 500g/m2
Material: Polyamide
Sound insulation: 25dB

The polyamide construction is tough and resists staining. Sound reduction of 25dB helps keep noise down in open offices and call centres. Castor chair approval means it handles wheeled furniture without damage or snagging.
