Forbo Tessera Create Space 1 Garnet 1828

Tessera Create Space 1 in Garnet 1828 is a deep red carpet tile with a fine loop pile that sits flat and shows no directional pile marks. The dark shade works well in commercial settings where you need to hide dust and wear, and the 500g/m2 pile weight keeps the surface crisp underfoot without feeling heavy.

Sound travels through busy office and retail spaces. The 25dB sound insulation rating cuts noise, making these tiles a sensible fit for open-plan areas and meeting rooms where focus matters. Loop pile also traps dirt and allows quick spot cleaning with a vacuum or damp cloth.

Glue down to a clean, level subfloor. The tiles come in 500mm x 500mm format, 20 to a pack, covering 5 square metres. Each tile is 5.5mm thick and made from polyamide, a hard-wearing fibre that resists compression in high-traffic zones. The LRV of 6 keeps the space dark and controlled.

Castor chairs roll freely across Garnet 1828 without snagging or chunking the pile. That makes it fit for office furniture and reception areas where mobility is constant. The 10-year commercial warranty covers normal wear and handles the demands of full-time use.
