Vanguard Sumptuous Mink

Vanguard Sumptuous in Mink is a soft, warm beige saxony carpet that brings comfort underfoot without fuss. The 13.5mm pile has real depth, and the medium shade works with most colour schemes. It’s plain weave, so the focus stays on the tactile texture rather than pattern.

What sets this carpet apart is the bleach-cleanable finish. Spill wine, coffee or mud and you can tackle it straight away without panic. This makes it ideal for busy households, pet owners and anyone who wants a carpet that cleans up easily. The polypropylene construction handles stains well and resists fading.

Where it works

This carpet suits bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, halls and stairs. Its durability and stain resistance make it a natural choice for hallways and landings where footfall is heavy. You can also use it in light commercial spaces. Vanguard Carpets are designed for real homes, and this one proves it.

Installation and underlay

Installation is gripper method, which is the standard for domestic carpets. You will need underlay, which stabilises the carpet and adds comfort. This carpet works with underfloor heating, so you can warm the room beneath without worry.

Looking after it

Regular hoovering keeps it looking fresh. For spills, the bleach cleanable feature means you can use standard cleaning solutions to shift stains that would worry you on other carpets. Blot rather than rub, and most marks come away cleanly. The carpet carries a 7-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
