How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. View Full Specs

Jarnac Oak brings a rich, warm tone to any room in the form of a herringbone pattern. The angled plank layout creates a classic look with real visual impact, whilst the micro bevelled edges add fine detail at each joint. Registered emboss texture gives the surface a tactile, wood-like feel that makes this laminate convincing underfoot.

This is laminate that takes everyday wear. Water resistant, it handles kitchen splashes and bathroom moisture without swelling or warping. The AC6 wear class rates it for commercial use, so it can cope with heavy footfall in hallways, living spaces and busy family kitchens alike. HDF construction at 10mm thick provides solid support and stability.

Part of the Alsa Flooring Allure collection, Jarnac Oak fits seamlessly with other finishes in the range if you want to run different colours across rooms. Installation is straightforward click-joint fitting. Each pack covers 1.473 m2 and contains 16 planks. Maintenance is simple: just vacuum and wipe with a damp cloth. A 35-year warranty covers domestic and commercial use, giving you confidence this floor will hold up.
