How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Consult with Flooring Experts: Our team at Flooring King is always ready to assist you. Honey Oak 452 brings a warm, inviting finish to any room. The gentle golden-brown tones suit both period homes and modern schemes, working well with neutral walls and natural light. You get the real-wood look of oak without the upkeep, backed by water resistance that handles splashes and spills in kitchens and bathrooms.

The registered emboss texture mimics the grain pattern of solid oak, giving depth and character underfoot. Micro-bevelled edges define each plank and add visual interest to the floor. At 10mm thick with an HDF core, this Alsa Flooring Allure plank stands up to daily wear with an AC6 rating, suitable for busy homes and light commercial spaces.
