Alsa Flooring Solid Plus Molly 706

Molly 706 is a water-resistant laminate that brings real durability to your home without the maintenance of solid timber. Its medium grey tone sits neutral and calm in any scheme, from contemporary open-plan kitchens to busy family hallways.

The 12mm HDF core and registered emboss texture give it a tactile, authentic feel underfoot. Micro bevelled edges catch the light and add visual depth, whilst the tough AC6 wear layer laughs off muddy boots, spilled drinks and daily wear. Busy household, muddy boots, the lot.

Click-fit installation takes hours, not days. No mess, no glue, no fuss. You can lay it yourself or call in a fitter. It sits on most sound subfloors without underfloor heating adjustments, though you’ll want to check your substrate and lay a foam underlay for comfort and moisture protection.

Where it works

Molly suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways in domestic homes. It’s also rated for light commercial use in offices, retail units and hospitality spaces where foot traffic stays steady but not heavy. Avoid fitting it in wet rooms or kitchens prone to pooling water.

Installation and subfloors

Click together each plank at an angle and drop flat. Lay it over solid concrete with a damp-proof membrane, hardwood subfloors, or existing vinyl and tile once they’re stable and clean. Measure moisture in concrete (max 75% relative humidity) and always use a quality foam underlay. It works with most homes, though you’ll need to consult an installer if underfloor heating is in place.

Looking after it

Vacuum or sweep regularly. Wipe spills fast with a damp cloth, then dry it straight away. Use a laminate-specific cleaner once a month if it needs a refresh. Avoid standing water, steam mops and harsh chemicals. The Alsa Flooring Solid Plus range carries a 35-year warranty against wear, which gives you real peace of mind.
