Altro Aquarius Cygnet

Cygnet is a medium grey speckled safety sheet vinyl that brings slip resistance and clean looks to wet areas. The subtle fleck pattern hides marks and keeps its appearance through heavy use. With an R11 safety rating, it handles moisture underfoot and resists the daily wear of busy bathrooms and kitchens.

What it does

This is a practical, waterproof floor for spaces where grip matters. The 2mm thickness and scrim backing give it stability on both standard and underfloor heating systems. You don’t need an underlay. Its glue-down fit makes for a secure, long-lasting bond that won’t shift or shrink.

Where it fits

Cygnet works in bathrooms, kitchens, WCs and light commercial settings. The speckled finish suits clinical or modern schemes. Whether you’re fitting a busy family bathroom or a small commercial washroom, the R11 slip rating keeps safety first. Altro Aquarius is part of the wider Altro Vinyl Flooring range, and Altro Aquarius sits at the robust end of safety-focused sheet vinyl.

Installation and upkeep

Fit it using the glue-down method onto a prepared subfloor. It bonds securely and performs well with underfloor heating. The waterproof surface needs only a wipe-down with mild detergent and a damp cloth. Sound insulation runs to 5dB. A 10-year commercial warranty covers seams, colour and wear under normal use.
