Altro ContraX Black

Altro ContraX in Black offers a clean, neutral finish with a subtle speckled texture that masks wear and dirt. The dark colour suits any kitchen, bathroom or commercial space where grip and durability matter. At 2mm thick, this Sheet Vinyl Flooring sits firmly underfoot and resists moisture without fuss.

The R10 anti-slip rating means your family and staff stay safe even when wet. That grip is essential in kitchens and bathrooms, where water spills happen daily. The waterproof surface wipes clean in seconds, and because it’s designed for Altro ContraX installations, it takes glue-down fitting without complications.

Where it works

Black ContraX suits kitchens, bathrooms and wet areas at home. It also performs well in commercial settings like cloakrooms, changing rooms and office kitchens. Class 34 rating confirms it handles moderate foot traffic without tiring.

Installation

Glue down onto a smooth, dry subfloor. The sheet sits in 2m-wide rolls, so measure your space and order accordingly. No underlay is required. Works with underfloor heating systems, so you can add warmth without complications.

Looking after it

Wipe spills straight away with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a little mild detergent works. Avoid harsh acids and bleach. The waterproof backing keeps moisture out, and the R10 grip stays reliable through regular cleaning.

Backed by a 5-year commercial warranty, Black ContraX is built to last.
