How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Where it works

The R10 anti-slip surface suits bathrooms, kitchens, WCs and light commercial spaces where safety matters. Waterproof throughout, it won’t soften or swell even if water sits on it.

Installation

Earth Brown is glued down to a firm, even subfloor. No underlay is needed. The flooring is compatible with underfloor heating systems, so you can warm the room without needing to lift or replace it.

Looking after it

Sweep and vacuum regularly to clear dirt and grit. Wipe spills with a damp cloth and dry promptly. For day-to-day cleans, a pH-neutral floor cleaner works well. Earth Brown carries a 5-year commercial warranty, backed by Altro’s reputation for reliability.
