How do I determine the amount of flooring I need for my space?

Determining the right amount of flooring for your space is a crucial step in any home improvement project. At Flooring King, we've got you covered with a simple guide to help you calculate the exact amount you need: Measure Your Space: Begin by measuring the length and width of the room. For irregularly shaped rooms, divide them into smaller, more manageable sections. Add Extra for Wastage: It's wise to account for wastage during installation. Depending on the complexity of your layout, add an extra 5-10% to your total square footage to accommodate cuts and unforeseen adjustments. Consider Pattern Matching: If your chosen flooring has a pattern or needs to be matched, consult with our experts at Flooring King to determine the extra amount required for a seamless look. Factor in Room Shape: Different room shapes may result in varying amounts of wastage. Take into consideration any alcoves, closets, or irregular corners that may affect your calculations. Distant Shore is a light beige speckled safety vinyl sheet from the Altro Illustra Adhesive Free range. The soft, neutral finish suits kitchens, bathrooms and commercial spaces where grip and durability matter. You get a real-world look without fuss, backed by an R10 anti-slip rating that keeps footing secure even when wet.

The loose lay system means no adhesive, no mess. Lay it down and it stays put, thanks to the weight of the material. This makes it quick to fit and just as easy to replace later if needed. The waterproof surface handles splashes and spills without flinching, making it a practical choice for any wet zone.
