Altro Illustra Sand Castle

Sand Castle is a light grey speckled safety vinyl that grips underfoot and keeps water at bay. The R10 anti-slip rating makes it a solid choice for kitchens, bathrooms, WCs and light commercial settings where slip risk matters. You get a real-world flooring solution that won’t ask for fussy upkeep.

The 2mm sheet comes glued down and sits flush against any subfloor. It works over underfloor heating too, so you can warm your space without tearing up the floor. At just 0.7mm thick, the wear layer shields against scuffs and stains whilst staying practical to lay. Sound insulation of 4dB keeps noise down in busy areas.

Sand Castle is waterproof, which means spills and wet feet don’t cause trouble. Clean it with a mop and mild detergent. The vinyl resists bacteria and mould, so bathrooms and food prep zones stay fresher longer.

This is Altro Vinyl Flooring built for real demands. Class 34 and Class 43 use ratings mean it handles both domestic wear and commercial footfall. A 10-year warranty backs your investment. Rolls come 2m wide and 20m long, giving you 40 square metres per roll with no underlay needed.

Commercial Vinyl Flooring often trades grip for looks. Sand Castle does neither. The speckled texture masks marks and dirt between cleans, and the light grey tone suits modern schemes or clinical spaces without looking cold.
