Altro Xpresslay Coal

Altro Xpresslay Coal is a dark speckled sheet vinyl built for safety and grip. The R10 anti-slip surface keeps feet secure in wet rooms, kitchens and commercial food prep areas where slip risk is high. Its waterproof PVC backing means water and spills sit on the surface, not sinking in and causing swelling or rot.

The coal colour hides marks and dust between cleans, suiting busy spaces where quick turnaround matters. Loose-lay fitting means you can fit it yourself without adhesive, and it works with underfloor heating too. No separate underlay needed.

Where it works

Altro Xpresslay Coal suits bathrooms, kitchens, WCs and commercial settings where moisture and slip are concerns. Its tough grip rating and waterproof construction make it ideal for changing rooms, leisure facilities and food service areas. As part of the Altro Vinyl Flooring range, it delivers the safety credentials you need in Commercial Vinyl Flooring without compromise.

Installation

Loose-lay fitting means the sheet sits flat on your subfloor, held down by its own weight and friction. You need no adhesive and no underlay. It’s compatible with underfloor heating systems too, so you can warm a wet room without replacing the floor.

Caring for it

Wipe spills as they happen and sweep or vacuum weekly. A damp mop with mild detergent keeps it clean. Its waterproof surface resists staining and fading, and the tough PVC backing stands up to foot traffic and damp. The 10-year warranty covers manufacturing defects and wear in normal use.
