Altro Xpresslay Dolphin

Altro Xpresslay Dolphin is a hardworking blue sheet vinyl with a soft speckled look. It brings calm colour into spaces where safety and cleanliness matter most. The R10 anti-slip rating gives you confidence underfoot, even when floors are wet. You get a real alternative to slip-prone ceramic or slippery polished stone.

This Loose Lay Sheet Vinyl needs no underlay, no adhesive and no fuss. Unroll it, fit it to the room, and you’re done. The PVC backing stays put on the subfloor without any glue, so fitting takes hours not days. It sits flat and stable from day one, with no gaps or movement.

Waterproofing is built in, so spills and steam don’t cause problems. The material shrugs off heavy foot traffic, wet mops and kitchen mess. It also works with underfloor heating, so your home stays warm without replacing the floor.

Where it works

Dolphin suits bathrooms, kitchens, toilets and utility rooms where water and mess are part of daily life. Its anti-slip surface makes it safe in wet areas. The material also handles light commercial use, so it works well in salons, care facilities and small retail spaces. Altro Xpresslay flooring is built for these demanding spaces.

Installation

Loose lay fitting means no adhesive is needed. Simply position the sheets and trim them to fit your room. It bonds lightly to the subfloor through its own weight and backing. Underfloor heating is compatible, so you can heat your room without any conflict with the flooring. No underlay is required.

Looking after it

Clean Dolphin with a mop and warm water. For tougher marks, a mild detergent works well. The waterproof surface won’t swell or warp, even in high-moisture rooms. Altro backs it with a 10-year warranty against manufacturing faults, giving you peace of mind in a busy home.
